THE LOWDOWN
B to Z Edit is an Amazon Store selling a Mini Hair Brush/Detangler. The important descriptors are compact, convenient, travel-friendly, with an aesthetically pleasing design and various colors.
They want to utilize a TikTok ad feature, the Display Card, to improve CTRs. The Display Card pops up following a video ad, working in conjunction with the video content, and leads to the product detail page. The final assets will be used to test performance against the standard Product Card pop ups TikTok provides.
The design goal: match typical competitors style with added “fun and coolness” to stand out and increase legitimacy of the product.
THE DELIVERABLE: 3 unique Display Cards promoting the mini brush, each with specific calls to action, appealing to a mainly female demographic

THE STARTING POINT + PROCESS
I was provided with a range of product photos, example videos, user-generated content, and competitor comparisons. I researched the best practices for this form of advertisement and began to create based on the wealth of competitor info and further research into the current trends that appeal to the target demographic.
THE FINAL DISPLAY CARDS
Three different cards with a range of CTAs and still similar personable, light-hearted messaging. Updated branding and style. Quick to read, descriptive and informative, bright and colorful.
